Christmas light installation in Sedona

Sedona homes are built into the red rock, with flat roofs, tile, stucco and big views. We design displays that suit that architecture, and we keep Sedona's dark-sky values in mind.

Installing in Sedona

Design concept: Sedona pueblo-style home with Christmas lights
Design concept: Warm white C9s on pueblo parapets and the courtyard wall, with a wrapped mesquite.
  • Sedona has outdoor lighting rules meant to protect its night sky, and many neighborhoods have HOA rules too. We default to warm white, low-glare bulbs and will check the current city and HOA rules with you before we install.
  • Pueblo and Santa Fe style homes look best outlined along parapets and walls rather than rooflines. We clip to the parapet cap without drilling into stucco.
  • Short-term rental hosts can book install and takedown dates around guest stays, and you don't need to be home for either one.
  • In the Village of Oak Creek we often wrap the trunks of mature trees, which reads beautifully from Highway 179.

Sedona questions

Frequently asked

Are Christmas lights allowed under Sedona's lighting rules?

Seasonal holiday lighting is common in Sedona, but the city and many HOAs have rules about brightness, direction and dates. We design with warm, low-glare lighting and check current rules with you before installing.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

Most homes in the Verde Valley fall between $599 and about $1,800, depending on how many feet of roofline you light and whether you add trees, bushes or walkways. Your quote includes the lights, installation, in-season fixes, takedown and storage.

Do I have to buy the lights?

No. We supply commercial-grade LED lights and clips, and they're included in your price. We take them down and store them, so there's nothing for you to buy, untangle or store.

Do you need to come out to give me a quote?

Usually not. Send your address and a few details, and we measure your roofline from satellite and street photos. We'll text or email a price, normally within one business day.

We also serve Cottonwood · Clarkdale · Cornville · Camp Verde.
